English-language historical edition
History through documents, maps, and sources
This future English-language edition will bring together historical video episodes, independent articles, audio editions, and chronological guides. The materials will connect events with documents, maps, images, museum collections, and the sources on which each account is based.
The English edition is in development. The first materials will be published when the editorial and production workflow is ready. No launch date has been announced.
What the edition will include
Independent historical articles
Readable articles with their own structure, explanations, images, source notes, and links to related video materials.
Audio and chronological guides
Audio editions and focused timelines that help connect events, people, documents, and long historical processes.
How the archive will work
Each future episode will have a dedicated watch page and a separate article. The two pages will share the same base slug in different sections of the site, making it possible to move from viewing to reading without treating the article as a simple transcript.
Source notes, image attributions, and related materials will be published inside individual episodes and articles. More complex navigation—such as historical cycles and timelines—will be introduced only after enough real material has been published.
Current status
The Russian-language edition is being developed first. The English edition is planned as a later editorial layer based on the same historical research and production system, with separate language review rather than automatic publication of machine-translated text.
